Let me introduce myself
My name is Kristina and I was born in a rather small city in Russia with a population of 260K people – Yoshkar-Ola.
I am so lucky to have a family who raised me with “get out of your comfort zone and aim for the best” mentality and encouraged me to do my best to get into a good university in Moscow.
Hard work and preparation paid off. I got admitted to one of the best all-Russian universities – Higher School of Economics. I remember all my mixed emotions like it was yesterday: excitement to start a new adult life and at the same time fear of the unknown.
16-year-old kid moving 750 km’s away from home to huge, at first impression unfriendly, 12 mln people Moscow to find her own place in the sun. That is how my big personal and professional journey has started. Back then probably I could not even imagine how many wonderful things would happen to me.
And I really hope that this is just a beginning, very bright one, but still a beginning!
