About me

My name is Kristina and I was born in a rather small city in Russia with a population of 260K people – Yoshkar-Ola. I am so lucky to have a family who raised me with “get out of your comfort zone and aim for the best” mentality and encouraged me to do my best to get into a good university in Moscow.

Hard work and preparation paid off. I got admitted to one of the best all-Russian universities – Higher School of Economics. 16-year-old kid moving 750 km’s away from home to huge, at first impression unfriendly, 12 mln people Moscow to find her own place in the sun.

During my studies at HSE, I had a lot of wonderful opportunities: I spent a semester studying abroad at Rotterdam University in Netherlands, followed by an internship as a market analyst in London and eventually started my career at EY in Moscow in financial consulting

However, I realized that what I really want to do is to work in Strategy as I enjoy so much problem solving and international environment. That is how I moved to Belgium to study Business Strategy at KU Leuven

After my graduation from KU Leuven, I started my career journey at Agfa HealthCare in a business strategy team. During the last 5 years I had 4 different roles to focus on different business divisions: from generalist to imaging equipment, then electronic health records, and then imaging IT.

At the moment, I am heading several tracks regarding strategic planning & market / competitive intelligence and actively involved in Product Marketing.

As I enjoy both learning & sharing my knowledge, I often participate and present at different events/conferences focusing on Market & Competitive Intelligence and have won several performance industry-known awards.
